On Saturday 9th December the Satur-Vs headed over to our good friends at Burntwood for under 7/8s, under 9s, under 10s and under 11s fixtures.
All four sides continued to show their improvement and rugby values in wet and muddy conditions.
The under 7/8s joint side started off superbly with several quick tries through good offloads and their defence throughout the whole game was superb with quick tagging and pressing.
The under 9s showed their adaption to contact rugby was goi no smoothly and hard tackling and great running saw smiles on faces afterwards.
The under 10s had a large pitch to contend with but two debutants were warmly welcomed and they persevered in their toughest test this season with some particularly strong performances from some players in their first year of rugby.
The under 11s, however, pulled off their best performance of the year, lots of tries and some excellent defence on a boggy pitch saw everyone contribute to a great game for all the spectators. Scrummaging and rucking were a particular delight!
