On Saturday, 10 Sep 2022 the U7 and U9 Veseyans teams travelled to their first ever away game but a last minute postponement by their original opponents saw them travel to Cannock to join in with their fixtures against Stone (a gesture we are very thankful of and we look forward to confirming more fixtures against them later in the season) during their well organised and enjoyable Super Saturday as all their teams played that day.
All of the boys and girls had an amazing time and loads of fun, we had two teams competing in Under 7/8 tag games having three close fixtures, scoring plenty of tries, and learning positioning and passing to carry forward for the rest of the season.
Our older U9 side played exceptionally well in their two games showing brilliant tackling a never give up attitude as they put all they’d practiced into a fantastic team performance that their coach himself could learn from! Roll on Burntwood Under 9s next week before our First Team's home game, please come along and support them as they keep showing rugby values, representing the club and improving as players and friends!
