Veseyans faced their toughest challenge yet on a brisk Sunday morning, travelling to the long-
established and successful Broadstreet RUFC to take on their mini section.

The under-7s and 8s weren’t daunted by the prospect of playing on the 1st team pitch in front of
some great support from both the home and away parents. The matches were very fluid, with plenty
of try scoring, and some great defence from the Veseyans to shut down some elusive Broad street
runners.

All players deserve congratulations for their effort, with some great team and individual attacking,
and for doing the club proud. Some players who particularly stood out were Matthew Boland, Daniel
Brook and Archie Strachan from the Under-8s, and Sam Little, Oliver Northmore and Toby Haslehurst
from the Under-7s.

Veseyans Minis next fixture is at home against Pinley on January 24th, however all players and
parents interested in joining in can come to training this Sunday at 10am.
