Veseyans U16 took the field against an unknown Bromyard team. We started well with strong scrummaging from the pack releasing the backs, allowing them to run through the Bromyard defence. Strong running in the centre from Alex Garton and Aaron Smith, created opportunities aplenty. Determined tackling from Louis fellows disrupted the Bromyard attack.

Veseyans won a ruck in midfield, and slick handling released Roan Farley who dashed half the length of the pitch to score. After the interval Veseyans continued to attack with Davey Recci running strongly. Further tries from Davey Recci and Alex Garton out Veseyans on control as the game drew to its climax.

A final score from skipper Robin Maes prior put Veseyans in total control. The game was unfortunately brought to an early end, following an injury to scrum half Louis fellows. We all wish him well for a speedy recovery. The final score was 41-10 to Veseyans.
