Having lost to Worcester Colts in the first round of the National Colts Cup, Veseyans found themselves drawn against a strong Kidderminster side in the first round of the Plate Competition.

Earlier this season Veseyans beat Kidderminster in a league game but this time the V’s were really up against it.

With only 15 available players, seven others not eligible to play because of the competition rules and then numerous players not available for many reasons the 15 committed players many of which playing out of position performed well.

The Colts can look forward to playing Dudley Kingswinford next week away with a full squad and looking to avenge their loss in the first game of this season.
