England and Leicester Tigers Hooker George Chuter will be coming down to the Memorial Ground on Tuesday 9th September to share his wealth of experience and knowledge with the Veseyans Senior Squad.
Chuter made 258 Premiership appearances for Saracens and Leicester Tigers, and has 24 England caps to his name including an appearance in the 2007 World Cup Final against South Africa.
Current Veseyans Forwards Coach Dan Hemingway was a team mate of Chuters during his time at Leicester Tigers and is pleased to be able to get him involved with the V’s.
“Chutes is a fantastic person to have available to help us out, especially for our front row, who will benefit hugely from just a couple of hours training with a player of this calibre. Chutes was a massive help to me as a youngster in the Tigers squad and I’m sure he will have the same impact on our current group. We have shown real promise in the set piece during our pre season friendlies but there is always room to improve and another persons viewpoint is always a great place to learn from, especially one with the experience of George.”
