Veseyans didn’t get the result they would of wanted in their final home game of the season as they went down 40 points to 7 against promotion challengers Camp Hill.

The first half was an even contest, Camp Hill had more of the ball as Veseyans kicked away possession in the early exchanges but both sides went into the break with a converted try a piece, Matt Dell with the try for the home side.

After the break, the visitors started the better side and were soon on the score board. The home side created a few opportunities in the wide channel but the final pass was missing on a number of occasions. As the afternoon went on the visitors showed why they are part of a tight top 3 fighting for promotion as they were clinical with scoring opportunities and opened up their lead.

Veseyans have a final game away at Kidderminster in the league on the 22nd April, and still have an opportunity to finish the season with silverware as they travel to Droitwich for the semi-final of the North Midlands Shield on Wednesday 26th June.

Veseyans players and coaches would like to thank all of their sponsors, supporters, family and friends for their support home and away this season and look forward to seeing you all back at the Memorial Ground next season.
