This weekends fixture was the final league game of the season but has the additional twist, as the same two teams will compete in the final of the North Midlands Shield in two weeks time.

It’s Kidderminster who appear to have the edge going into the final as they end the season one place above Veseyans and win Saturdays fixture 40-18.

The game was taught affair up until the final ten minutes when a sin bin against Veseyans tipped the balance.

Veseyans scored tries through Joe a Williams and Adam Mitchell, whilst Harry Griffiths kicked the other points.

The visitors were punished in the final ten for not taking early chances and a controversial penalty try combined with a yellow card to Williams proved the turning point as the home side ran scores in the final 5 minutes that flattered the score board, going from a 19-18 lead to a final score of 40-18.
